While attending the University of Houston, I led a team of five in the development of a Media Plan for a real world client, Mattress Firm. Our objective was to create a plan that would speak to the unique media consumption behaviors of both Millennial and Generation Z audiences. Through our research, we discovered it necessary to utilize a mix of tactics such as streaming media, social, television and event sponsorship. Out of a class of seven teams, our media plan was selected “Best in Class” by a panel of industry professionals for the way it utilized both traditional and emerging media channels.
